Obituary of Annie Dorris Blankenship

Annie 'Dot' Lunceford Blankenship, 94, of Soddy-Daisy and formerly of Huntsville and Grant, AL passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 in an area healthcare facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stuart, Sr. Dot is survived by her sons, Stuart, Jr. of Clearwater, FL, Donald of Soddy-Daisy and Larry of Grant, AL; sister, Stella Jones of Ellenwood, GA; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. E.D.T. on Monday in the Legacy Funeral Home chapel with Dr. David McNabb officiating. Burial will be at 2:00P.M. C.D.T. on Monday at Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, AL. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
