Ronald Edward Hicks, 54, Signal Mountain, Army veteran and member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2006 at his home. His grandparents, Ernest and Sena Hicks and Luke Elder preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki Young Hicks; daughter, Kohli Hawks; son, Garrett Hawks, Signal Mountain; step-daughter, Monica (Shawn) Roach, step granddaughter, Peighton Roach, Soddy Daisy; parents, Gordon and Letha Hicks, Signal Mountain; grandmother, Mary Elder, Decatur; brother, Larry (Shari) Hicks, nephews, Chris (Angie) Hicks, Chickamauga; Lucas and Brody Hicks, Hixson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at Pinecrest Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Market, Dr. Steven Granger and Dr. Danny Chisholm officiating. Interment to follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Arrangements by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy, 843-2525.
