Obituary of James Edward McAfee

James E. 'Jim' McAfee, 67 of Hixson passed away at his home on Thursday, October 2, 2008 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 19, 1941. Jim Graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1963 and retired from Unum/Provident. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. McAfee and his son, Brian. Jim is survived by his wife, Betty and daughter Laura Beth; mother, Duff; brothers, Robert Wayne and Kenneth, all of Pulaski, TN; sister, Joyce Ann Beech of Hendersonville, NC and his mother-in-law Lucille Willis of Huntsville, AL. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM CDT Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Pulaski, TN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pisgah Cemetery Fence Fund or Hospice of Chattanooga. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy, TN.
