Ethel Lee Parker, 89 of Hixson passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Parker; parents, John and Sarah Womack and numerous brothers and sisters. Ethel is survived by her son and caregiver, Mickey Parker; sons, David Parker and Jerry Parker; daughter, Susie Roberts; brothers, W.R. Womack and Larry Womack; sister, Judy Sunderland, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2008 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Clagg officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy-Daisy, TN.
