Dear Family of Herb Sneed: Herb's death came as quite a shock to us. It seems it was just a few weeks ago that we had a usual friendly discussion at the literature counter. We were very saddened to learn of Herb's death. He had been in our home many times as part of his association with Herb Sneed and Associates, and we remember him as not only a hard worker but a man who was unfailing kind and polite. I was very saddened to hear of Herbert's passing away. As a little girl, I can remember his Mom's face and he and all of his brothers and Charlotte. My parents, Shelby and Montyne Mayes, went to their home for our weekly Bible study when I was a toddler. As an adult, I remember my Dad speaking fondly of him and of him always being a kind and mild spoken person whenever I spoke with him at our meetings. I know he will be sorely missed. To Aunt Connie, Alan, and Linda: Although it has been several months since the passing of Uncle Herbert, there have been few days where I have not reflected on what Uncle Herbert has meant to me and the impact he had on my life. I remember, fondly, the summers that my brother and I spent with you guys as a family and all of the activities that Uncle Herbert was a part of. Even though it has been a quarter of a century since those days, my summers with him and all of you, and all of the moments in this life that we have shared, are some of the most precious I will carry with me for my lifetime.
