Mary Jo Hicks Evans, affectionately know as 'Mama Jo' passed away January 7, 2009. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles 'Chick' Evans, Sr. ('Pappa'); son, Charles W. 'Chick' Evans, Jr. and wife Tammy; daughters, Allison Gilbert and husband, Tim; Cristi Hendon and husband, Ronnie; granddaughter, Nikki Evans; grandson, Trey Evans; sisters, Maudie Cawood of Ringgold, GA; Martha Chitty of Brandon, FL; Wyona West of Sweetwater, TN and many nieces and nephews. She was an avid fisherman and she loved her husband and children. Mama Jo cared deeply for and loved all of her fellow human kind. She will be missed by all whose hearts she touched. To Celebrate her life join us Friday, January 9, 2009 at 12:00 Noon at Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
