Obituary of Iris M. Fischer

Iris M. Fischer, 74, of Chattanooga passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 in an area hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fischer.
Mrs. Fischer is survived by her son, Jeff (Kendra) Fischer of Lorena, Texas; daughters, Julie Hancock of Temple, Texas and Holly (Michael) Christopher of Chattanooga; sister, Carolyn Greer of Abilene, Texas; grandchildren, Brianna Fischer, Katherynn Fischer, Tanner Christopher and Charlie Christopher, two nieces and two nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, February 16, 2009 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Chattanooga. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at NHC Chattanooga and Hospice of Chattanooga.
