Obituary of Stanley Dean Shrum

Stanley Dean Shrum, 76, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Monday, September 14, 2009. Stanley was a veteran of the US Navy and a past member of the Soddy Daisy Bass Masters Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Luther and Ella Mae Shrum, four brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Shrum of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Stace Shrum of Soddy-Daisy; son, Tony (Cheryl) Shrum of Red Bank; sister, Betty Shrum of Chickamauga, GA; granddaughter, Katie Shrum and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Shrum will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 2pm at New Salem Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Painter officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-9pm Friday at Legacy Funeral Home. Interment will be Monday, September 21, 2009 at 10am at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
