Obituary of Martha McDaniel

Martha L. McDaniel, 83, of Hixson passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in an area health care facility. Martha retired from Provident Life Insurance Company after many years of service. She was a Volunteer at the Chattanooga Teen Challenge and was a member of Women's Aglow. Ms. McDaniel was preceded in death by her parents, the late Herbert L. and Bessie Nolan McDaniel; sister, Virginia Hamilton. Survivors include her sister, Peggy Muse of Hixson; brothers, James McDaniel of Hixson, Fred McDaniel of Ocala, FL and Ray McDaniel of Pinehurst, NC. A service to celebrate the life of Ms. McDaniel will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Cross of Calvary Community Church, 1853 Thrasher Pike Hixson, TN 37343 with her brother, Reverend Fred McDaniel officiating.
