Sandy, We know you are hurting right now and there is nothing we can say to lift that hurt, but as you well know, Jim is in a better place and is not hurting anymore. If he could, he would only return to this world to come back for you. So, since he can't there is one thing for sure, you can go meet him when Jesus gets ready to take you to him. You are in our thoughts and prayers during your pain of your loss. God is always in control and may he comfort you and let you feel his presence everyday for the rest of your life. Jim was a great man and everyone could see the love in his eyes when he looked at you. We love you. If you need anything, just let us know. Jeff & Marie Amos

I remember many fun tennis matches with Jim. Jim always beat me, but he was kind and let me win a few games each set. I especially remember playing doubles with my son Patrick against Jim and David. Jim was a super guy and I greatly enjoyed his company. He will be missed by many. My condolences to Sandy and David and the family. Pat Hagan

Dear Sandy and Family: After Gail and I married and I left the neighborhood for our new house, I very much missed seeing and talking to you and Jim there in the neighborhood. We have been gone over 9 months and I was not aware of the problems that Jim was having. We would just like to say that we are very sorry for your loss and while both Gail and I lost our spouses in 2008 no one really knows the sense of sadness and loss that one has. But we do strongly believe that with faith in God that there will be a better day and our prayers and sympathy are with you and your family. George and Gail

I worked with Jim for many years and always treasured his friendship. Jim gave me a lot of good advice both professionally and as a friend. He was a very wise person and very passionate about his ideas. I enjoyed playing several sports with Jim including Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Tennis. I have not seen much of him the last few years but he will always be in my memory.

Sandy, Words fail us at times like this, but I want you and your family to know how much I have enjoyed the friendship of you and Jim over the years. Jim was a very good person and very smart as well. When he did work for my group, we gave him some very tough problems to help us solve and he would find some way to make it work. I never worked with a more capable engineer. I am glad that you and Jim counted me as your friend. We will have you in our prayers as you go through this very difficult time. May God richly bless you. Jim and Bobbie Amburn
