Obituary of Helen Petty Wright

Helen Petty Wright, our loving mother, 83, of Soddy-Daisy went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Mrs. Wright was born to the late George Petty and Hester Morgan Reno Petty on October 4, 1926. She retired from Oster Manufacturing and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wright; brothers, Carl, Walter and Tom Reno and Montegue Petty; sister, Lucille Hodge. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Jim) Varner; sons, George (Patty) Wright; Don (Gaila) Wright; Ron (Linda) Wright; grandsons, Wade Wright, Travis (Heather) Wright and Casey (Cindy) Varner; great-grandchildren, Eli and Brody Wright, Cameron and Caylee Varner; beloved brother, Grover Petty and sister, Louise Greene. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 23, 2009 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dana Gravett officiating. Interment will follow in Coleman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00'"8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
