Obituary of Winifred Thomas Wright

Winifred Thomas 'W.T.' Wright, 71, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Wright was a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from ICI Americas at Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant. He enjoyed being a baseball coach for the Soddy-Daisy Kids Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jessie Wright and brother, Norman Wright. Survivors include his wife Sandra Wright of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Shawn (Shannon) Wright of Nashville and Erik (Laura) Wright of Chattanooga; brothers, Ellis Wright of Mesquite, TX and Kenneth Wright of Shelton, WA; sisters, Gerry Spann and Ernestine Addington, both of Little Rock, Arkansas and Evaline Watkins of Midgeville, NC; grandchildren, Madleine Wright, Jocelyn Wright, Henry Thomas Wright, all of Nashville and Atticus Wright of Chattanooga. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416 Services will be private.
