Obituary of Tyler Matthew Thomas

Tyler Matthew Thomas, 25, of Sale Creek passed away Wednesday, February 03, 2010. Tyler was born on February 25, 1984 to Ricky and Cindy Thomas. He was currently employed at Dayton Plastics and was a member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local #43. Tyler loved being outdoors and with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, George McMahan. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Ricky (Darlene) Thomas of Sale Creek; mother, Cindy Thomas of Harrison; paternal grandparents, T.J. and Gracie Thomas of Sale Creek; maternal grandmother, Betty McMahan; brother, Rex (Amber) Dugger of Dayton; sister, Missy (David) Hampton of Sale Creek; nephews, Dakota Poe, Aiden and Brody Dugger; niece, Courtney Hampton; aunts and uncles, Tammy (Jesse) Robinson and Ronnie (Ruby) McGee; cousins, Gator Dillon and Chase McGee. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 7, 2010 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Arthur Thomas, Rev. Dennis Goins and Rev. David Sampson officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery with Anthony Brown, Lloyd Yearwood, Cody Olstrom, David Hampton, Billy Gregory, James Gregory, Eddie McIntosh and Daniel Copeland serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Friday and all day on Saturday at the funeral home.
