Marty was a member of my family for many years. Every time I saw him either at a family event or bumped into him, Karen, & the boys out he always had a smile on his face & made me feel as if he truly enjoyed see me. He was always gracious & welcoming. He also was my favorite "cousin-in-law". To me, he was as much a part of our family as I am. I loved Marty & I will miss him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family. My Thoughts & Prayers are with all of you.
I am so sorry for your loss. We do not understand why such tragedies happen in life. We can only cling to God and rest in his comfort. He is faithful to carry you through this time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the months to come.

It will be so hard for days to come for a while...then as time passes, you will be sad, but all the fun times will flood your tears...Yawl had and will always have Marty's unconditional love... Mrs. Burgess, Brenda, and Pat - I just today got the call from my sister and am saddened with the news about Marty. I'm disappointed that Tisa didn't notify me as I would have liked to send flowers for his service. Please know that your family is in my prayers during these terribly difficult times.
