Obituary of Mary Gladys Marshall

Mary Gladys Marshall, 89, of Hixson passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 in the Hospice of Chattanooga Walker Road Facility. Mrs. Marshall was a member of Burks United Methodist Church for over 70 years. She loved to make dolls and enjoyed collecting them. She was an avid Lady Vols Basketball fan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. 'Tooter' Marshall; sons, Bobby Daniel Marshall; granddaughter, Tracy Campbell; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Catherine (William) Neely and Carol Beddingfield, all of Hixson; sister, Virginia Hickman of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Allen Neely of Soddy-Daisy and Vicki Hamilton of Calhoun, TN; four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 21, 2010 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rhonda Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in Schneitman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00-8:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P.O.
