AWOL One of my fav. memories of Aaron was when he came home from the Marines for a visit. All of us had spent a couple of days just having fun. The last night he was there he asked me out of the blue if I could drive him back to the barracks that were in one of the Carolina's I'm not sure which one, I told him sure, he said we have to leave right now or we won't make it back in time and he would be considered AWOL it was about 7pm and we jumped in my red Mustang and took off we got there with about 20 min. to spare. We talked and laughed the whole time. He will always be remembered and one of my favorite friends. I love and miss you Aaron.

Good-bye Handsome. In hindsight I wish now I'd kissed you 10 years ago when you kept asking me too!! Who knew that would be the last time we ran into each other? Rest now my friend.

Although I hadn't seen or heard from Aaron in 20+ years, I still have vivid memories of him. He was a good guy, had a great sense of humor, and the type of person that EVERYONE wanted to hang out with. I am sad to hear of his passing, and pray that the Lord brings comfort to those he left behind.

I saw Aaron a while back when the "Brick Oven" was open. He told me he had cancer but was in remission. That was some time ago. All I can say is 'what a fighter'. I am so proud to have known someone with that kind of fight in them. I don't think he ever quit. I know he will be missed by many. My love and prayers go out to you all.

Our deepest condolences regarding your loss. Although we drifted apart as adults, I'm still drawn to shared childhood memories - I still have vivid memories of Aaron as a kid riding the school bus with us. May God bless you in this time of need and comfort. Very respectfully, Tim & Toni McGhee

I'm writing this because they are so many memories that I have of Aaron that make me laugh. He lived life to the fullest rarely following the rules. He was loving and kind to everyone. He fit in everywhere because he was funny and friendly. He will be missed but he is with his mom now and I know he is making her smile like he always did me. Love you Aaron, please keep an eye out on me from up there. Your long time friend Tami.

Stewart and family, I am so sorry for the loss. Aaron was special indeed. So many memories from the past. It was so good to hear from him but I was sad when he told me about his fight with cancer. I know that it is a terrible thing to watch your loved one go thru it and you feel helpless..but it's over now for him. Stay strong and remember all the good times, forget the bad and look forward to the times to come! Be blessed with peace, courage and wisdom for the days ahead. Robin Massengill
