An old friend I was sad to hear about Earl€™s passing. It was truly losing an old friend of whom I have many wonderful memories. His tales and stories are still passed around in the TVA Nuclear Power community. He was famous for never letting it get too serious in the work group and would come forward with some dry humor to get us all back on track. He was one of the most intelligent engineers that I have known and he could work efficiently in all three disciplines, which was a rare talent. I know his family will miss him dearly but I am sure there are many, many great memories of his love and caring of them all. So long Earl, we will see you down the road in the not so distant future.

Papaw, where do I begin...words can never express how much love you brought to my family and the loss we all feel now that you're gone. You were the kindest, most gentle person I've ever known and I miss you so much. This void will never be filled. I pray that once I once again hear you say "I love you E.E.". Until we meet in Heaven, love E.E. (Sheila).

Sorry to hear of Earl's passing. I knew him for several years at TVA in the early 80's. He was a joy to work with and a real asset to everyone he was around. I always enjoyed going to the plant with him because he knew everyone. He was, as you no doubt know, the king of the quick pun.

Don't know where to start....My dad came in my life when I was six and raised me until I was eighteen...He never complained about any money that was needed to raise me and my older brother...My biological father never paid a cent for us... I thanked Dad many times for all he did...He worked hard throughout his life to provide for his family. He never asked for anything...Never wanting anything for himself...Such a selfless person. I spent much time with my Dad when he was in the nursing home... It was a joy and I loved every minute... He had Alzheimer's but knew his family most of the time till the end...although many times dad thought I was his sister that he loved so much Barbara Jean.. I went along with being Barbara because they had always been so close and it would comfort him... Of course. the way his mind was would not have done any good to tell him any differently. He would look for me each day and was so happy to see me... I told him when I was there he was the boss... So here we go all over pushing him in the wheelchair all over and around the nursing home... He seemed to enjoy that more than anything...He spoke of all Joe. Barbara Jean, Lee. Danny and Eleanor many time's was very apparent he loved his family very much.. Dad, I love you and miss you.... We will meet again in heaven...
