Obituary of Ethel Orrok

Ethel Orrok, 94, of Chattanooga, TN and formerly of New Jersey and Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Orrok was a member of Hixson United Methodist Church and the New Beginnings Sunday School Class. She was very involved with church activities during her life and loved her family. She also enjoyed being a participant with Alexian Brothers Seniors. Her husband, David Paton Orrok and granddaughter, Sandra Tripp preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Tripp of Washington, NJ, Carol Wright of Flowery Branch, GA and Arlene Orrok of Chattanooga; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Hixson United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. Paul Longmire officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Thursday at the funeral home and from 1 PM until the time of the service on Friday at the church. Interment will be held in Lakeville, PA on Monday, November 1, 2010. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
