Obituary of Vonnie Aslinger Ford

Vonnie Aslinger Ford, 85, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2010 in an area hospital. Mrs. Ford retired from Dixie Yarns after forty years of service. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Her husband, the late Samuel Ford; parents, Leonard and Alice Aslinger and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death. Survivors include her brother, Wayne Aslinger of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Winnie Aslinger Hall of Soddy-Daisy; and several special nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Cliff Roth officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-6 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
