Obituary of Emily L. Hart

Emily L. Harris Hart, 99, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Monday, November 8, 2010 in an area healthcare facility. Mrs. Hart was the daughter of the late Charles Harris and Ollie Roberts and a member of Sequoyah Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hart; brothers, Charles Harris, Andy Harris, John Henry Harris, Jesse Harris, Sherman Harris; sisters, Hazel Creasman, Lucy Evans, Bessie Gravett, Willie Mae Clayton; children, James B. Hart, Jo-Anne Rector and Katherine Smith and grandchildren, Greg Rector, Bradley Smith, Myra Kay Dolberry, Survivors include sons, Kenneth Hart and Billy Hart, both of Soddy-Daisy; daughter, Brenda K. Matthews of Augusta, GA; sisters, Charlcie Roddy of Cleveland, TN and Jeanette Scates of Hixson; eleven grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and sixteen great great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in the Legacy Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Jimmy Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
