Obituary of Tony Lee Sharp

Tony Lee Sharp, 61, of Soddy-Daisy went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in an area hospital. Tony's passion was playing his guitar and was very well known and loved in the community. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Green Pond Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Sharp; parents, Ralph Sharp and Martha Laverdure; sister, Linda Wallman and brother, Joseph Laverdure. He is survived by his wife, Diane Sharp; sons, Johnny (Linda) Sharp and Nick (Micki) Sharp, all of Soddy-Daisy; brothers, Larry Sharp and Fredrick Laverdure; sisters, Brenda Shipman, Phyllis Moldavan, Teresa Sharp, Cindy Rigdon and Becky Laverdure; and grandchildren, Hayley, Johnny, Charles and Ashland. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Clankston Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Sietz Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-8PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
