Obituary of Donald Bernard Koster

Donald Bernard Koster, 74, of Soddy Daisy passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in an area health care facility. Mr. Koster moved from Chicago to Chattanooga in 1983. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He was an industrial electrician at Cavalier and retired from Chattanooga General Services at DuPont. In his spare time, Mr. Koster enjoyed shooting, fishing and motorcycling. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Reiss; father, Bernard Koster and brother, Kenneth Koster. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Koster; sister, Lorraine Galloway; niece, Amy Dunn; and nephew, Randy Galloway. Graveside services and interment with military honors will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 3, 2011 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Chaplain DeWayne Renfro officiating. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Soddy-Daisy.
