Obituary of Wayne Allen Wright

Wayne Allen Wright, 61, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on May 4, 2011 in an area hospital. Mr. Wright was a member of the Gospel Assembly Baptist Church and a proud Veteran of the USMC. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lankford and Hazel Wright. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Baggett Wright of Soddy-Daisy; sons, Wayne Daniel Wright of Harrison, James Allen Wright of Spring City; Daughters, April Skiles Rand of Soddy-Daisy, Laura Wright Mills of Ringgold, GA; sisters Linda Lee of Red Bank, Faye Clark of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Stormi, Blake, Breanna and Conner Wright; Anna, Abbi and Arin Skiles; Bishop and Asher Mills. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenneth Essex officiating. Interment will follow in Varner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday and 11 AM - 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. The family request memorial contributions to be made to the Wayne Wright memorial fund at Community National Bank.
