I agree with my mother that words cannot fully express our grief, and what Claudda and your entire family means to us. All of my life, since we left Tennessee, I don't think a day has ever gone by that I didn't think of y'all. I will forever keep with me the kindness of Claudda, John, and the family. We reminisce frequently about the years we were in Tennessee, how our families met, and how many hours I spent as an infant, napping on John's chest. I have vivid memories of Claudda babysitting me, and I would follow her around, doing the chores on the farm. When I was still in college, Adrian, my husband, and I visited, and Claudda and John treated us as their own children--showed me the old farm we lived on, and all around Soddy Daisy and Chattanooga. I am forever grateful for those memories. Please know how immensely Claudda is loved and treasured. I will always keep her in my heart, and miss her deeply.
