In The UP Dad I will never forget when I was about 8 or 9 and stayed home from school sick, which I wasn't really sick I just wanted to stay home. The rule back then was if you stayed home sick you stayed in bed or on the couch all day no friends, no phone calls, nothing but soups and laying down. Well I will never forget laying on the couch and you coming in and asking me if I was feeling better I said yes and to my surprise you asked me if I wanted to go on a motorcycle ride with you to the china shop in Ohio to get a piece of china that was grandma's which had broke. I can remember like yesterday it took me 5 seconds to run in get dressed, brush my hair and teeth and I was ready to go before you were. You knew that the only reason I stayed home was because you came home the night before after being on the rails for 2 weeks, and I wanted to spend time with my daddy even if it were only to see you walk thru the living room. I also remember us getting back home that day after school let out and Linda & Cathy being furious because I stayed home and went out riding with you instead of staying in bed. LOL I love you Dad and will always have those memories to hold onto. I miss you Dad but I remember it is only a matter of time before we will be together again.

I always enjoyed being around Mr. and Mrs. Brown. Especially, when they lived in wayne. I used to really like when Garry would tell me of his experiences during his career on the railroad. He was a fun guy to be around, always cracking jokes and he always made you feel welcomed in his home. You will be missed my friend. God bless you Mrs. Brown, Michele and Mike.
