Obituary of Linda Jean Spivey

Linda Jean Spivey, 69, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her home. Linda retired from Roper Corporation after many years of service. She was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Seslar Hensley; mother, Lillie McIntosh and son, Gordon Hensley. She is survived by her son, Rocky Hollifield of Ashville, NC; daughters, Terisa Allen of Soddy-Daisy and Shelly Potter of Hixson; sister, Billie Mason of Weaverville, NC; grandchildren, Keith Ward, Stephanie Hensley, Lindsay Sexton, Johnathan Potter, Matthew and Aiden Allen, Casey and Kimsey Hollifield and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Don Kelley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
