Obituary of Tommy Millsaps

Doyle Thomas "Tommy" Millsaps, 51, of Bucksnort, TN and formerly of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 in a Nashville hospital. We mourn the loss of a son ,brother, uncle and dear friend who's love and generosity knew no bounds. His compassion touched so many lives in immeasurable ways. We should all strive to live up to the example he set- never judge, give freely, love deeply and completely. He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Eason Millsaps; grandparents, James and Ollie Millsaps; grandmother, Rebecca "Granny Bec" McWilliams; grandfather, Thomas McWilliams; grandfather, Robert Robling; and nephew, Joshua James Knowles. He is survived by his mother, Nina and Papa Don Hart; mom, Maxine "Mickey" Millsaps; grandmothers, Nell McWilliams and Jean Robling; sisters, Trena (Robert) Knowles and Tracy (Mike) Creasman; brothers, Tim (Kathy) Millsaps, Terry (Cindy) Millsaps, and Rob (Amber) Millsaps; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; extended family; and his three best four-legged-friends Toby, Howie and Rio. The family would like to make special mention of his loving and devoted Nashville family. Tommy loved you all dearly; words cannot express our gratitude for each of you. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Michael Zdon officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Saturday and two hours prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
