Four years ago I met Mike in Gulfport Ms. at cruzing the coast. There were thousands of people there but for some reason (Gods will) we met. There was an immediate connection and over the next four years we became very good friends. We had a lot in common, love and support of family. cancer survivors, Christians; Masons, Army Veterans, love of Harley Davidson motorcycles and hope for the future no matter what happened. I regret that I did not know of Mikes passing until after the funeral. I will miss him but am thankful that I knew him and will always keep his memory in my heart. I loved him as a brother.

Mike and Christy were our youth leaders when I was growing up. What a Great time we would have when we would have church outings. Those childhood memories are precious to me. He was such a good influence to us all. Prayers to his family for comfort in this time of sorrow.

Uncle Mike, I love you and will miss you! Always smiling and laughing, enjoying life to its fullest. I don't think you ever met a stranger, and knew everyone. You would give the shirt off your back is someone needed it and you have always been here for our family. I remember every time you visited me in the hospital because you always had some awesome adventure story or just bought some really cool hot rod. You made me, Shane and Casey more like brothers than cousins. I am going to miss you so much, but I know you are with Papa Curtis now. Wonder which one has the better story to tell !?! Love you Uncle Mike !
