Bill was a true gentleman and an outstanding worker that I had the pleasure to work with at Rohm and Haas . Bill brought to the workplace kindness, thoughtfulness and the ultimate goal in doing the job right the first time. My family prayers are with you and your family. Joe Dooley

Like Ed, I too remember Bill Wills fondly from working at Rohm and Haas at Bristol. (I just got this link from Dave via Jim West's email list, so I know I am commenting pretty late.) Anyway, Bill was one of my favorites. There is no more Rohm and Haas, and most of us are long gone; but many of us still have vivid memories of some very wonderful people like Bill. I can still see him in the lab. Marty: I am sure that you and your family miss your dad. I wish you the best. You and your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Best, Gene

I have many great memories of working closely with Bill in Bristol, Pa at Rohm and Haas Co. He had such a great sense of humor and compassion. He loved his work and he was always there to help people with problems. I use one of his 'sayings' all the time with my family ... he gave me a 1oz vial of sand and said "Ed, it's just one grain of sand on the long beach of time " and that would put things in perspective for me ...I still have that vial. Thanks for all the memories, Bill.

Our family has sat right behind Bill and Alice at the 5:30 p.m Mass on Saturdays for years. They have watched our children grow up, and have always been so kind and supportive of them. Bill took Nick on his first fishing trip in a boat when he was a little boy, too. We will miss talking and laughing with Bill so much.

I am Mary's sister-in-law, Lori. I think I only met "Bill" once and that was at Craig & Mary's wedding. I remember him being larger than life! He was so handsome and proud to be the father of the bride. He meant the world to Mary and over the last couple of years I would ask about how he was doing -- Mary would always tell me how strong he was. Strong in faith and in family. Craig, Mary, Sam, and Alyssa would love to go visit. I don't know what they called him -- Pop, Poppy, Pop Pop, Granddad, Grandpa -- whatever, all I know is Sam and Alyssa loved him so much and will miss him everyday. As will Mary and Craig and the rest of the family. Thank god for memories of good times shared.

Bill was a very generous friend to Paul who became one of his fishing buddies. While out on the boat, Paul and Bill talked about alot of different issues, and would try to solve the worlds problems. He taught Paul's son-in-law how to fly fish and allowed him to use equipment to learn. He was kind to Tish when she flew into town, always picking her up at the airport. Our Prayers are with Bill's family in this loss.
