Obituary of Claude Reese

Claude Reese, 88 of Soddy Daisy went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 12, 2015. He passed away peacefully at his home with his wife of 28 years, Jean and his family by his side. Claude was a member of Middle Valley United Methodist Church. He also owned Reese's Ace Hardware in Soddy Daisy for many years. The son of the late Thomas and Cora Johnson Reese, he was also preceded in death by his stepson, Mike Holloway; brothers, Austin and Leonard Reese; and sister, Loretta Reese. Survivors include his wife, Jean Reese; daughters, Cindy Whitaker, Patricia Wright; step daughters, Trisha Marlow, Nancy McDaniel, Debbie Rowden; stepsons, Danny and George Holloway; grandchildren, Stephen and Elizabeth and many step grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 P. M. Sunday with Rev. Reece Fauscett and Rev. Tom Shoemate officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park with L. J. Rowden, Bill Holloway, Rick Holloway, Zack Holloway, Ryan Holloway¸ Michael Holloway, and Stephen Caldwell, serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12 - 8 P. M.
