I was so very sad to hear this news....I had the pleasure of working with James - lunches enjoyed more and work conversation less, to be more accurate. We talked about our kids, our roles in their lives as dads, and so many other things. He was the most giving man I have ever met - I have a telescope he gave to me when he discovered I enjoyed viewing the stars - you are home now, my friend. Your memory lives in your wonderful family and you will not be forgotten. Our lives are diminished with your departure.

Praying for peace and comfort for your family. Heaven gained an angel. We didn't know James very well but it was obvious how much he loved his family. God be with you. The Parrott Family.

James was baptized at our Church in Ohio on January 13, 1991. He was a gentleman. He was also a well liked, trustworthy and blessed man. May God continue to bless his Wife and Children.

Janie, Bobby and I are so sorry for your loss. Please try to take comfort in knowing that James is 100% healthy and whole again in heaven. He brought so many people joy and happiness and had such a giving spirit. I will never forget the time he brought home the "homeless man carrying a huge cross across America for Jesus"... He wanted to make sure that man had a hot meal and a place to rest for the night. He was a true angel and inspiration. You, Cade, Parker, Summer, and Jessica are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you very much. Stay strong in the Lord.

Beloved friends: Up here in Ohio, we cannot stop thinking about James and all of you. As Believers, we know that James is no longer suffering and will be patiently waiting for his beloved family to join him some day. But, as humans we are struck by how much it hurts at present. You are in our constant thoughts and prayers. We will always cherish the memory of being in Russia together. Sometimes it is not the quantity of time spent together but the quality and the commonality of spirit and hearts. That is what we had with James and we will always remember him with the greatest affection. With my deepest sympathies and unending gratitude for our friendship, Lisa Wurster

Janie, Cade, Summer, Parker and Jessica...we love each and everyone of you and want you to know that we are here for you no matter what. We thought the world of James. He had so much compassion and love for all of you. He was funny...always posting "funnies" or even watching funny videos I would post on Facebook. He loved to post photos of dishes he would cook for the family. He was just an all around "neat guy" who will be greatly missed. We have both cried many tears for you. We know it is going to be difficult, but the Lord will carry you through this very sad time. At least we know that James is in a far better place where he will suffer...no more. Someone once said that when a wonderful person passes from this world...it's because the Lord was searching the earth looking for that one perfect person to make Heaven just a little sweeter. He found James and the angels were definitely rejoicing when he walked through those pearly gates. We loved him, we love you and HE WILL BE MISSED. "I will send down showers in season; there will be showers of blessings." - Ezekiel 34:26 "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him and I am helped." - Psalm 28:7 "Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you." - Psalm 55:22 **With our deepest love, Brad and Pam Griffey**
