Obituary of Mary Clarice Hartman

Mary Clarice Hartman, 79, of Hixson passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2015 in an area hospital. She was born on September 20, 1935 in Hixson, Tennessee to the late, Jimmy and Mary LeVan. Mrs. Hartman was a devoted Christian and loved working with children and singing in the choir in church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Hartman; sister, Dot LeVan Conner; grandparents, Albert and Eugenia Westbrook. Survivors include her husband, Bill Hartman; brother, Michael (Janie) LeVan; sisters, Anna (Harold) Knowles and Jimmie Lou (Wayne) Sims; special nephew, Scott Conner and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Steve Cape officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Monday and two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
