Tawanna Bumpus posted a condolence
Monday, June 13, 2016
Hello, My name is Tawanna Bumpus, and I am sorry that you have lost your dear loved one Mr. Timothy Whitfield McDonald in death. I know he will be missed. Under God's Heavenly Government or Kingdom mentioned at Matthew 6: 9,10 and Matthew 6:33 he will live again and will not have to die again. Jesus taught us to pray The Lord's Prayer because he knew that God's Kingdom is the (Only) hope for mankind. You and your family are invited to a discourse entitled JESUS CHRIST WORLD CONQUEROR HOW AND WHEN? JULY3-5 at the VON BRAUN CENTER ARENA 700 Monroe Street, SW. HUNTSVILLE, AL 35801. Because Jesus is a very important spirit person. He is the King of that Heavenly Kingdom and he's going to bring our dead loved ones back to life. Acts 24:15. Have a wonderful life!

One cold night in December of 2014, Tim and I bumped in to each other at the convenience store on the Georgia side of the mountain. We only knew each other well enough to say hello and pass by. But, that night we engaged in conversation. I told him I was sitting by a fire on my patio and invited him over. We began to tell each other our stories and found common threads. As we wove those together, I found a man who loved his family, art, real estate and the lure of how a blazing fire can take us to a common place. I realized very quickly his degree of intelligence, interest in others and that he was great company. He admired a painting Billy Parker had done for my Mother to give me and was most interest in my family history. As it turns out, my Father once owned the canooga property. We discussed it for at least an hour. Then he said,"give me a piece of paper and a pen". He proceeded to sketch me and within minutes he had drawn a fair resemblance of me. We agreed to meet out on the river this summer. Then we called it a night. I was struck the next morning what a fun time I had and that I would like to get to know him better. I spent three fun hours with Tim McDonald by a blazing fire on a cold December night. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. God Bless, John Cummings
