Joseph Ridolfo, Sr., 94, of Flintstone, GA passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015. Mr. Ridolfo was born on December 18, 1920 in Montclair, NJ to the late Silvestro and Rosalia Mascera Ridolfo. He was a veteran of the United States Army, held memberships in the V.F.W. and American Legion. During his career he was in the manufacturing industry in New Jersey, India, and Tennessee and held memberships various manufacturing associations. He was a member of St. Elmo Presbyterian Church and attended the Monday night Bible study there. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Vernieri Ridolo; brothers, Dominic and Natale Ridolfo; sister, Lena Rossi. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Thomas and Ardyce Ridolfo; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis Carol and Kent Laursen; brother, Anthony Ridolfo; sister, Rosalie Fortunato; granddaughter, Rose Van Huss and her husband, Jacob; step grandchildren, Ardyce Mercier and Audra Kelley, Anson and Tabitha Mercier; step great grandchildren, Lilith Jackson, Ardyce Mercier, Austin Mercier and Grayson Mercier. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at St. Elmo Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cal Boroughs officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ on Thursday. Arrangements are by Wann Funeral Home & Cremation Center, at the foot of historic Lookout Mountain, St. Elmo.
