Obituary of John Philip Magee

John Philip Magee was born in Manhattan, New York on February 22, 1941. He passed away August 17, 2015 at his home in Chattanooga, surrounded by his devoted and loving family. He is survived by Brenda Freshour Burns; daughter Yvette Leigh Burns; grandchildren Caroline and Lyla Schenck; son-in-law Brian Schenck; sisters, Mary King and Ellen Bardes; brothers, Charles McGee and Daniel O’Hare; sisters-in-law, Robin McGee and Peggy O’Hare; 10 nieces; 15 nephews; 12 great nieces; and 16 great nephews; 6 great great nieces and 6 great great nephews. Philip was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia Zanella and Kathleen Schumacher; parents, Ann and Patrick O’Hare of New York and County Cavan, Ireland.
