Those who mean the most to us Are never really gone. For in our thoughts and in our hearts Their memory still lives on So may you find that passing time Can somehow help to heal Those memories will ease the loss And sorrow that you feel I'm so sad to hear that Ruth has passed on. She was married to my uncle Willie. I've only saw Ruth maybe two or three times, and she was so sweet. She was at my mother's funeral back in 2007 and invited me to her house, but I couldn't because I had to leave for home the next day. Deepest sympathy and prayers sent to the family of this beautiful angel who earned her wings on December 30th. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but I know she was a very special person to one of my best friends Joann. I know its hard for us here on earth to say goodbye to our loved ones but when the Lord called her name it was her time to celebrate a new life with no pain or suffering. Shes happy, healthy with no worries and smiling down on her family right now. Joann just know she is your angel now in heaven as she was here on earth and she will send you strength and guidance to carry on. She taught you how to love and respect people and treat people the way you would want to be treated. Your granny and mine are one of a kind so we can keep memories alive by continuing to make them proud by living a good life as they would want us to. Love, hugs and prayers sent.

Dianna and Terry, I am so sorry. I know how much you loved your Granny. Dianna, especially since you are on my FB, I read all the love you have for her. I know it was genuine,.... and Terry, your prayer requests on our church page, they were read and prayed over. Sometimes, it just isn't meant for our loved ones to stay here, and God will bring them on home, in which he has your grandmother. You girls are so special, and I know you made her proud. I know she felt your love. The things you did and felt for your grandmother are very rare in today's time. It seems love and dedication kind of became a thing of the past, but I seen both of these in the two of your girls. God bless the both of you, and I pray God fills the void in your heart right now with His strength and His love. My sweet sweet granny.. I can remember like it was yesterday playing as a kid around your house. We could watch tv and quilt for hours. The time I shared with you were some of the best times of my life. I always knew that you were always there for me, to me you are still here with me., maybe not in your body but your soul will always be here. I can still hear you yelling at my brother, Stevie you would always say(: As a child I told my mom I when I turned 18 I was gonna move in with you and take care of you.. Life doesn't always work out as we plan.. But it's memories like these that are what is keeping me going threw all of this.. As it is very hard to say goodbye I know that you are much happier now, and pain free.. And that is all that matters to me. I stayed by your side until the end and I know even if you couldn't see me that you knew I was there. I hope to see you again someday... But until then I will keep you alive in my memory and in my heart. You have helped to make me all I am today and for that I am grateful. You were a very strong woman, and you cared about everyone you met, you will forever be remembered and missed by so many people.. And no matter how old I get you will always be my granny. I love you more than words could ever describe.. I hope Jesus lets you quilt up there, I know how much you've missed that. I love you granny, fly high with the angels. I'll never forget you!
