Sam and Sara, I was so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. She was such a special person. She made you feel good just by talking to her. She was so happy and bubbly it was contagious. Sara she was so proud of you. She will be missed by all who new her.

We started as friends in elementary school and ended up at a hayride in high school. But, a couple of months ago when you sat with us at the picnic, it was the day before your doctor's visit, you were at peace. And, I am not alone for others saw it and agree. You spoke, you moved, and your testimony was filled with all the love, grace, fearless acceptance and blessed assurance that you were ready to meet your Almighty God! I've never seen this before, I don't think I ever will. I know you are at great peace now Pat! And, Sara...ask your Dad about that hayride.

Sammy, Sara and Pam, my heart is broken, too. From my first memory of Pat in High School, to working with her at Provident, to our hour long talks in the grocery store, we have always had a connection. We would just pick up where we left off. She loved you all and her church family. My heart is also comforted by the fact that I know she was ready and is now pain free. My prayer is that you all feel that same sense of peace and comfot.
