Obituary of Jewell Graves

Jewell Graves, 94, of Duluth, GA and formerly of Soddy-Daisy died Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was a member of Soddy Church of Christ and Duluth Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Graves; great grandson, Sean Cotter; and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Hollis (John) Hamrick, Lawrenceville, GA; brother, Eugene (Nancy) Bryant, Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Stacy Cook, Lilburn, GA, Kelly Hamrick, Lawrenceville, GA, Brent (Leslie) Hamrick, Signal Mtn., Courtney (Erwin) Vargis, Calgary, Alberta, Canada; great grandchildren, Thomas Cook, Reagan and Olivia Hamrick, and Natalia Jewel Vargis. Services will be at 6 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Bill Greer and John Grubb officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 The family will receive friends from 3 - 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
