Obituary of John Grady Forester

John Grady Forester, III of Lakesite passed Monday, November 2, 2015. He was an active member of Community Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. John was the son of the late John Grady Forester, Jr., and Dorothy Margaret Cahoun, and was also preceded in death by his daughter, Stacey Ellen Forester, and brother, Panker Forester. Survivors include his wife, Alma Pearline Forester, Lakesite; daughter, Angela (Robert) Alston, Ooltewah; stepdaughters, Sonya (Walter) Hunt, Cleveland, Elandra (Gary) VanHoosier, Hixson; grandchildren, Johnathan and Luke Alston, and Yahna VanHoosier; sister, Charlotte (Bill) Dover, brothers, Bud (Pat) Forester, and Jimmy Forester, all of Harrison, and Rusty (Terri) Forester, Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 P. M., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Marc Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 P. M. Wednesday at Community Baptist Church. They will also receive friends from 12 till 2 P.M. Thursday at Community Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Community Baptist Church Summer Youth Camp Fund, 8807 Dallas Hollow Rd., Hixson, TN 37343.
