I have so many great memories of my sweet Uncle Harold! He was a wonderful man that I loved and admired very much. The highlight of my childhood summers were our Stancil family reunions and then leaving from there to spend a week with Uncle Harold, Aunt Barbara and my cousins. I had so much fun! A couple of times, Uncle Harold took me with him on his mail route and I felt very special! When I became a student at The University of Florida, I would call him when Florida played his beloved Auburn and we would tease each other about who was going to win. He always called me "Little Tama" and I can still hear him saying my name. I'm happy that he's at peace in our heavenly Father's Kingdom. I hope my mom met him as he arrived- she loved him very much. My prayers and thoughts are with you Aunt Barbara, Brenda, John, Sandy, David, Jenny and Chris. May you find comfort in the words of those who also loved your sweet husband, father and grandfather.
