Bud & I always shared our breathing problems before church but I had no idea he was in as bad a shape as he was. You know no one knows how bad we feel. I am so sorry that I am not able to pay my respect, but I thought the world of Bud and will miss him dearly and love you Sharon very much. Carolyn Baggett

It was so sad hearing of Buddy's home going but heaven gets sweeter for everyone as our loved ones pass on. So thankfull that he had a relationship with our Lord. When my husband, Nathan and I visited Sequoyah Baptist Tabernacle for the first time, we were met with the smiling face of Bud DeSha. After we joined the church, I was introduced to Bud's sense of humor. He always called me "hun" and Nathan HIS "bodyguard". I am going to miss him so much!

I'm going to miss my buddy. Bud never failed to whisper in my ear and say "You know I still love you!" When I was on the Social Committee he never failed to help with whatever I needed to have done, sometimes I know he did things when he really wasn't able. When my other buddy Tom Ables passed away he told me that he was going to pick up aggravating me where Tom left off. I told him that was good because Tom brought me presents, so in typical Bud fashion he started giving me left over Father's Day and Mother's Day gifts from the church. I had him a free calendar from the Chinese restaurant to give him for Christmas but I didn't get to see him. lol I pray for the sweetest lady on earth, his wife Sharon and for the rest of his family. Our church is going to have another giant hole in it with Bud's passing.

I was the secretary at Sequoayh Baptist for 7 years where Bud was an active member. He was always my go-to guy. Always at the church cleaning up the vans or working on something in the church that needed repair. On more than one occasion I had to call him to come let me in the office because I had locked myself out. Lazy was not a word that anyone could ever use to describe Bud DeSha. He was a hard worker and always willing to jump in when needed. He was a good man and married to the sweetest woman you could have the pleasure of knowing. Our prayers are with the family. ❤️
