Obituary of Margie Beavers

Margie Beavers, 77 of Hixson died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at her residence. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Margie attended Middle Valley Church of Christ. Her and her late husband, Maurice Beavers owned and operated Dallas Bay Greenhouse for many years. She had also been employed at the McDonalds on Hixson Pike which she thoroughly enjoyed for several years. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Clifford "Bud" and Lillian Galyon. Survivors include her sons, Mike Beavers, Jeremy (Mary) Laymon; daughters, Mitzi O'Bryan, all of Hixson, and Melanie Scott of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Mitchell Beavers, Brandon O'Bryan, Jacob and Jordan Scott; sister, Wilma Nowlin, LaVergne, TN; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, P.O. Box 46, Chattanooga, TN 37401.
