Obituary of Gene Brannon

Gene "Slow" Brannon, 87, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 . Mr. Brannon retired from Vulcan Materials after over forty years of service.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Richard Shannon.
Survivors include his daughter, Betty (Buddy) Martin of Soddy-Daisy; son, Dale Hackler of Soddy-Daisy; brother, E.F. Brannon of Hixson; sisters, Carrie Dalton of Hixson and JoAnn Weeks of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Lisa Raulston, Dawn Stimmell, Dusty Martin, Damon Martin and Errin Martin; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
At Mr. Brannon's request, services will be private.
