Ruth Garrison Wright has been a close and highly admired friend since we moved in 1960 to Lookout Mountain, Tn. from Knoxville. She was a leader at our church, among friends and relatives, with the Red Cross and Girl Scouts in Chattanooga area and at Destin, Florida, where they had a vacation home. In a lady-like manner she guided hundreds, while raising four children and entertaining for her husband's bank, American National Bank and Trust Company, with large parties in their home. Ruth called Sandy by many, was a member of bridge clubs, garden clubs, and the Nat. Society of Colonial Dames. She was an outstanding person, and I already miss her but know that she is in the hands of our Lord and Savior. Betty Davidson Frierson
