Obituary of Howard Eugene Varner

Howard Varner, 74, of Soddy Daisy went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 30, 2016. Howard was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. He was also a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Grace Varner; brothers, Earl, Lewis, Wayne, and Noel Varner; and sister, Jimmie Ruth Nolan.
He is survived by his companion in life, Joann Hickman; brothers, Clarence, Wallace, Arthur, Gerald, Elmer, and Douglas Varner; sister, Nellie Lipp; grandchildren, Autumn and Damain Hickman; special great grandson, Adien Wells; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4 - 8 P. M., Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Legacy Funeral Home.
There will be no services.
