Edna Lou Smith Edna Lou Smith, 78, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Monday, April 13, 2020 at her home. She was retired from TVA after many years of service. She loved gardening, quilting, sewing and knitting. She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Smith, Sr., daughter, Jennifer Smith and twin sons, Larry and Barry Smith, parents, Barney and Julia Burnett and sister, Jenny Sisson. She was a member of Mowbray Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her son, James (Lisa) Smith, daughters, Julia Smith Johnson, Laura Smith Daughtrey, Ramona (James) Frady and Michelle Smith Cary, brothers, Griffin, Eugene and B. J. Burnett, sisters, Caroline Etheridge and Ann Pulley, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Special thanks to Dr. Heitholt and Staff and Chelsie Fulbright and the wonderful Staff of the Dayton Office of Hospice of Chattanooga. Private Graveside services will be held in the Grant-Varner Cemetery.
