Shirley Louise Dierks, 80, of Soddy-Daisy passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. Shirley was retired as the Administrative Assistant at Emmanuel Lutheran Church near Dayton, OH. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Gerald Dierks, infant daughter, Mona Rae Dierks, grandson, Trent and parents, Lowell and Lois Snyder. Survivors include her sons, Jason, Rick and Keith (Carrie) Dierks, grandsons, Abram and Lucas, granddaughter, Trisha, great-grandchildren, Andrew and Hailey, brother, James (Carolyn) Snyder and nephews, Bryan and Chad,. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 7 p.m. at the Grace Pointe Assembly of God Church with Rev. Terry Evans officiating. Burial will be held in the Chattanooga National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the church. Due to the increase in COVID cases it is requested that everyone practice social distancing and other appropriate safety measures.
