My condolences to the family of Shirley Nale. What fond childhood memories I have of the Parrott and Nale family. I remember playing with Yvonne and Terry at Lorene's house. Doris, Dixie and I would visit our Uncle Lonnie and Aunt Myrtle who lived across the street. The 3 of us, along with Janice, Peggy and Brenda would go over to play with the girls. Seemed like Lorene's was the gathering place for the neighborhood children. A radio was usually playing so all of the girls could dance in the yard. The first time I heard the Everly Brothers singing "Wake Up Little Susie" was in the yard at Lorene's. A beautiful and fond memory for me.
