When we were kids, Wendall and I enjoyed spending time together in the summer when school was out. Wendall would spend a week with us and i would spend a week with him. We helped Dad build his very first wooden Allison boat in 1955. Wendall has always told Dad that those times were some of his fondest memories. I remember when Wendall would take me with him to the print shop and i got to see how newspapers were printed. Wendall visited Dad a couple of months ago and hugged Dad and told him he loved him. We realize now he was saying goodbye. We love you Wendall! Darris Allison
I’ve know Wendell before he bought Mr. Brown out & he never changed. Always a friend & great supplier to the Card family & a blessing to do business with. Heaven is a little better off with Wendell. Sorry to his family for your loss.
