Obituary of Erma V Lizer

Erma V. Lizer Erma V. Lizer, 95, of Soddy-Daisy, TN passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home. She was the former co-owner of Davis Tap in Davis, IL and co-owner of R & L Manufacturing before her retirement. She was an avid knitter and stained-glass creator and also loved to travel as she said, “North, South, East and West” and 2 foreign countries. Erma was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lizer, daughter, Constance Henning, parents, Edward and Selma Marquette, siblings, Virginia Roop, Veousha Dunseth, Edward Marquitz, Eldora Ozanne, Selma Viola Marquette and Vernon Marquette. Survivors include her children, Steven Govig, Thomas Govig, Diane Govig, Nancy (Gary) Daily, Michael (Judy) Govig, Bruce (Barbara) Lizer and Greg (Shannon) Lizer, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of extended family. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Monsignor Al Humbrecht officiating.
